Who we are James Ellis was established in 1990. We Publish high quality blank greetings cards, gift stationery and Christmas cards. We supply independent retailers and multiples in the UK as well as distributors overseas.
We believe that if you create a product, what you create should be as good as it can get. It is better to produce one good product than many average ones. To that extent we have always kept our product range small and focussed on best selling lines. We aim to use the best illustrations available and design products to compliment them. We hate waste. We work in an industry which is notoriously bad at throwing away seasonal and discontinued products. We have set up our own clearance department to ensure that we have very low levels of waste. Our office is based in Bristol in the UK. The cards are sent from our warehouse based in Gloucestershire.  The environment
We use environmentally friendly FSC paper and board, vegetable based inks, and starch based biodegradable packaging.
